This very adventure tour will take you to the famous colored mountain, in this route you will enjoy the wonderfull painted RAINBOW MOUNTAIN in the peruvian andes.

Hiking in this mountain hills you will to appreciate the conbination of colorful landscapes,snow capped mountains and local people raising a lot of llamas and alpacas (South American Camels).

The distance hike itself is 8 km /5 miles
The elevation is from 4300 m (14,200 ft) to 5,150 m (16,670 ft)
DIFFICULTY: Moderate / challenging
VERY IMPORTANT :This kind of hike is good for those people with a very good fisical conditions in hikes and adventure.
You have to consider 3 to 4 hours hiking up hill

Itinerary

This adventure trip starts from cusco,the departure is from your hotel early in the morning (4:00 am ).
Then we continúe driving for 3 hours approx
in a private transportation until the place where we will start the hike.
Before the hike we have included a breakfast.
From this point hiking to the Rainbow Mountain view point will take 2 hours approx.
Along of this valley you will enjoy the view of the peruvian andes red mountains,glacial peaks and for sure a lot of llamas and alpacas(South American Camels)
As soon you get closer to the Rainbow Mountain view point you will start to see the signs of the colored minerals that formed the painted hills.
Next stop is the strategic location giving you a 360-degree view of the sacred land .
Finally you arrive to the top of the view point.
Here you will have enough time to enjoy the majesty of the colored mountains .
After an hour on top of this mountain we will start hiking back to the trailhead and here we have lunch included.
After lunch we return to cusco by car driving.
Arriving to cusco city by 16:00 pm approx.
