Your experience begins with a private pickup from your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley. Travel in a comfortable private vehicle to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where you will board your selected premium train service to Aguas Calientes.
Enjoy spectacular views of the Andes, the Urubamba River, and the lush landscapes surrounding the railway as you approach Machu Picchu.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our team will assist you with your arrangements. Enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace, with time to relax, explore the town, or enjoy a special dining experience.

Day 2: Private Guided Tour of Machu Picchu
After breakfast, take the shuttle bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where your private professional guide will accompany you through the archaeological sanctuary.

You will meet your private guide at your hotel or at the train station in Aguas Calientes, at a departure time you choose between early morning and early afternoon.
How long is the guided tour of Machu Picchu?
The complete guided tour takes about 3 hours, followed by the shuttle bus ride back down to Aguas Calientes.
Can I add the Huayna Picchu hike?
Yes, as an optional extra for $60 USD per person (ticket plus guide), or the gentler Sun Gate hike for $25 USD per person. Huayna Picchu spaces are limited, so book in advance.
What Machu Picchu entry time can I choose?
Entry times are available from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm; if you are visiting on a day trip, the afternoon after 12:00 pm is usually less crowded.
